Privacy Policy
Last updated October 24, 2026
This policy explains what personal data Almenti collects, why, and what you can do about it. Almenti is a price-comparison website: we show clothing prices from retailers' product feeds and link you to the retailer to buy.
What we collect
- Account data. If you sign up, we collect your email address and password. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, Supabase; your password is never stored in our own database.
- Things you save. Collections, favourite products and followed brands, linked to your account.
- Click records. When you click through to a retailer, we record which product, when, and the page you came from, plus an anonymous session identifier when one is available. These records are not linked to your account and contain no email or name.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes standard request data such as your IP address and browser type in server logs, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies: session cookies from Supabase that keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner. If that changes, we'll update this page and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
When you click a link to a retailer you leave Almenti. If it's an affiliate link, the retailer or its affiliate network may set its own cookies to credit us for a purchase. Almenti doesn't set those cookies, and the retailer's policy covers them. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Why we use your data
- To provide your account and the items you save (performance of our service to you).
- To understand which products people look at, and to keep the site secure and prevent abuse (our legitimate interests).
We don't sell your personal data and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Service providers. Supabase (database and authentication) and Vercel (hosting) process data on our behalf. They may do so outside your country, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards where the law requires them.
- Retailers. When you click a link you leave Almenti, and the retailer's own privacy policy applies. We don't pass your account details to them.
- Authorities. Where we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
We keep account data until you ask us to delete it. Click records are kept for as long as they remain useful for understanding which products people look at.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, to receive a copy of it, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. To use any of these rights, email [contact email not configured]. We may ask you to confirm the request from the address you signed up with.
Children
Almenti isn't aimed at children under 16 and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
When we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
